Austria: IPT Specialisation Course Conflict-sensitive Project Management

This training course prepares participants for successful design and implementation of international development projects in post-conflict areas, regardless of their specific field of expertise.

The course is targeted at field practitioners (e.g. development and humanitarian aid practitioners) who wish to reflect on their work and enhance their skills to efficiently manage projects in peace-building and peacekeeping activities and people who aim to specialise in managing projects and programmes in post-conflict areas. Participants will

  • Understand conflict analysis and conflict sensitivity throughout the project management cycle
  • Apprehend results based management of projects, project management cycle and the logical framework approach
  • Understand the logic of design, implementation and monitoring of projects and programmes
  • Become familiar with monitoring and evaluation approaches

COURSE FEES: 1.410€ include tuition fees, course materials, coffee breaks, full-board accommodation, joint transport to and from the airport, and a social event.
